Root Fillings

Instead of removing a tooth, we can save the tooth by

  • Removing the damaged nerve from inside the tooth

  • Cleaning the tooth thoroughly to kill the germs and making it sterile

  • Root filling material is used to seal off the canals and to prevent any infection recurring

Our dentists make your experience as least painful as possible by using local anaesthesia or if you are nervous we can also provide IV sedation.

For the back teeth we strongly recommend to have crowns placed to provide additional strength to the teeth as they often become weak once the nerve is removed.

Front teeth often tend to discolour sometime after a root filling. We recommend teeth whitening as this is a minimal invasive procedure as sometimes it may be difficult to predict how the tooth will match with adjacent teeth. If this is the case we recommend Veneers or Crowns.
